I AM A PRODUCTIVE HOUSEWIFE!

Successful Second Marriage: a Grateful love and it's the Last

Most of the time second marriages are succesful because you've learned your lessons. They said love is sweeter the second time around. God has answered my prayers and I am so blessed that he gave me more than what I've asked for. I just prayed to God to reserve the right person for me, prepare him for our meeting, and give me a sign so that I will know he is the one that He has chosen to be my partner in life.

I was once married to a Filipino guy for 5 years. He was my boyfriend for 5 years too. Everything was great until he was carried away by his discontentment in life that affected our family. That led him to a worthless life. He was engaged into illegal drugs, gambling and sex with other women. Those days were horrible because he became violent to the extent that he pointed a knife at me just to get the important documents of our properties so he can sell it; screwed my neck in front of the market with so many people looking while I was carrying my 5 year old daughter; and almost punch me when he can't get what he needs. He wasted the money of his mother just to sustain his vices. My life with him was like a drama story in the television. Yes, I was a martyr when it comes to love at that time. I was locked inside my emotions for 5 years, until I finally decided to get rid of him. I filed an annulment to remove our connections. I do not like to carry his last name anymore. I tried my best to move on and thanks to my friends who helped me through those hard times that I had. I diverted my time to my daughter and to my business before. I met a lot of people in where I've learned a lot from them too. The pieces of advice that I've put together made me a stronger person now. I came to a point and told myself, if I won't step my foot forward I won't go anywhere; I won't be able to reach my destination. I realized that God doesn't want me to be in that situation. So, I told myself I will look forward to the good life that God wants me to have. This is my motto " IF LOVE HURTS, YOU DESERVE SOMEONE BETTER".

Since my ex was a Filipino, I thought of trying to look for a foreigner because they said they are more understanding and for them your past is not that important for the future life. I tried joining dating websites and I really had a lot of chatmates but also a lot of frustrations because it seems nobody was serious. Until one day, my daughter's teacher was getting married to an American guy. I was curious where did she meet him and she said through a dating website. She shared that to me and I started to make my profile captivating to the eyes of the men who are looking for a bride. It sounds weird but I was so desperate to find the right man for me. I almost gave up until here comes a Cajun-French guy from Hawaii that I met last November 1, 2008. On our first week of knowing each other, he wanted to go to the Philippines already and meet me but I was hesitant because I don't know him that much yet. So, I told him to wait until we get to know each other better. But it seems he was stroke by the arrow of "Kupido" and he won't give a chance to lose me. So, after 1 month (December 2008) he finally went to the Philippines to meet me, see where I live and meet my relatives. He was so nice and very respectful. After 3 months (March 2009), he went to the Philippines again and I didn't expect him to give me a diamond ring. Yes! he proposed marriage to me in a restaurant where there are a lot of people. OMG! I cannot explain what I felt that time. I felt like heaven! Of course, I accepted it! hahaha. The next month, he filed a petition for me for a fiance' visa and Yvonne(my daughter). On October 2009 we got our visa and flew to Hawaii November 7, 2009.

He is the way on how I was able to see my family after 7 long years. My mom, sisters, brother, aunt, cousins and nieces went to Hawaii to attend our wedding day. It was a family reunion. Our wedding was held at Waikiki beach. Everybody was excited and we felt like we were actors and actresses having a shooting at the beach while people are watching us. It was a memorable day to all of us.

The reason of my happiness now is Alex. He is my wonderful husband. He is an army officer, strict at work but so gentle to me. He gives me the love that I need in my life. I prayed for a good and loving husband but God gave me a very good, very loving, understanding, honest and faithful husband. God also gave me a good, loving and caring father to my daughter. Alex shared the good things in life to us. Because of him, me and my daughter are now in the USA and closer to my family; because of him, we were able to see the different parts of USA; because of him, I feel so beautiful and sexy for he appreciates me everyday; because of him, I am more confident; because of him I have a complete family and because of him I am a stronger person now. I am loved because of me.

Where can you find a husband that will say thank you all the time when you cook for him? Where can you find a husband that will tell you you're beautiful as soon as you wake up in the morning? Where can you find a husband that will say I love you more than 3 x a day? Where can you find a husband that will find time to take you out every weekend for a date? Where can you find a husband that will treat your daughter like his own? and Where can you find an American husband who will eat alamang with kalamansi, daing na bangus, pinakbet, talbos ng kamote, and amplaya leaves with kamatis & bagoong? Hahaha. He is all in one package. He is one of a kind. We get a long with each other very well. He is so sweet and appreciates all that I do. He encourages me to discover more of myself to be able to use them. See what I mean? God is so great! After the trials and hardships that came to my life, he has blessed me with so many things. I am grateful I met him. I am grateful of my second marriage. I am grateful I stepped forward to look for my destiny. I thank God for all the blessings he has bestowed upon me. I am happily married to a military guy...my soulmate....my destiny...My Alex.

Happy 1st anniversary Honey on November 27, 2010. I look forward for more happy years together. I thank God we found each other. Thank you Honey. I love you so much!

My Grateful Marriage....the second...and this is the last!

Always be grateful and faithful and He will reward you in His time.
